Regalia Blouse
The roomy fit of this stylish gathered blouse makes it so comfortable to wear. It pulls on over the head and ties at a back keyhole opening. It features front and back yokes and a stand-up collar, and there are two lengths and two sleeve designs to mix and match.
Choose between a loose and flowy cropped hem to wear with high waist pants and skirts or a slightly longer tuck-in length with an optional waist tie. The long sleeves (A) are gathered at the shoulder and narrow at the wrist, while the short sleeves (B) are gathered at the shoulder and gathered into a cuff that lands just above the elbow. You can also add an optional tulle sleeve head pouf for even more sleeve volume!
This pattern is the perfect canvas for a variety of lightweight woven prints and solids. The front and back yokes are just begging for colour blocking, print mixing, embroidery, or some directional stripe play.
Fabric: Lightweight woven fabrics such as cotton voile, cotton lawn, cotton gauze, lightweight cotton shirting, cotton Swiss dot, and lightweight linen. Just be aware that looser weave fabrics such as linen and gauze will result in a slightly looser fitting garment.
