The Seabright Swimmer is a one piece swimsuit pattern that can be made with or without sleeves. It features a plunging neckline with gathering at the shoulder and waist. The instructions include a tutorial for adding a lace up neckline closure for added modesty. The sleeves let you look and feel glam while providing a bit of added sun protection!

For the two kits, we've chosen to help you play with color-blocking so we're providing two fabrics in each box. Check out the line drawings to see how the fabrics will look on the finished swimsuit!

Everything you need for success!

I've always wanted to try to sew swimwear, but it has always been intimidating because there are a lot of steps in sewing and that's before you even cut out your fabric. I don't have time to research all the notions I need, find the perfect fabric, and look through the numerous swimsuit patterns.

I chose this particular kit because I like the style of the pattern. There's a couple of options to choose from in terms of style and I think I'll end up making both.

The kit comes with everything you need. The fabric is very nice quality. Top of the line needles and thread and an appropriate amount of elastic are included. There's no need to purchase any additional items. I think this is a good deal, because the fabric alone is worth the purchase price.

There's also extra fabric to accommodate all sizes of the pattern. At first I thought this was a waste, especially if you're on the low end of the pattern range, but it's actually a positive in case you make a mistake or you want to make something else using the same fabric.

Overall, I'm really excited about this kit and if all goes well, I may subscribe to the monthly sewing boxes. I like that someone else does the hard work of picking out the fabric and notions, so I only have to work on fitting, cutting, and sewing.
