Here at Needle Sharp, we love tartans. Tartans, plaids, checks: if it's geometric, we want to sew it. So it was no surprise that we fell hard for this silver and black tartan rayon. With a herringbone weave that you don't often find on a rayon, this fabric is both unique and instantly familiar. And we can't wait to turn it into lovely dresses and tops. The fluid drape makes it perfect for loose-fitting dresses like the Sway Dress from Papercut Patterns, but you could also make more tailored items like Grainline Studio's Alder Shirt Dress. We're already dreaming of making the back flounce on the bias...
