Sew a Sweatshirt: Toaster Sweater #1
This box is specifically designed for the Toaster #1 variation of this sweater pattern. A close-fitting, semi-cropped sweatshirt/sweater, it works best when sewn in thick, stiff knits with some body to keep the neck standing upright. It features raglan sleeves, a wide waistband, a loose turtleneck, long cuffs and a hem that falls between the high and low hip.
In this box, you will receive the pattern, fabric, and all the notions to match your fabric

Doppio Oatmeal Rayon Double Knit - Quite thick and beefy, this double knit has a smooth stockinette face on both sides of the fabric, making the insides of your sweater just as cozy as the outside. The thickness of the fabric makes the mock turtleneck stand up on its own with ease, but a deceptive amount of stretch keeps the sweater comfy and wearable. The heather oatmeal color is soft and soothing, and the rayon give the fabric deliciously silky hand. A gorgeous fabric!
Gray Quilted Double Knit - This double knit combines two of our favorite things: the stretch of jersey and the texture of your favorite quilt. Criss-crossing lines create little diamond puffs of fabric that will elevate this sweater. Light heather gray on one side and dark gray on the other, you also have lots of possibilities to play with the contrast (maybe a contrasting cuff and hem band?). Soft, surprisingly thin for sweat shirting, and medium weight, this fabric is a stunner!
Also in this box: Matching thread, a stretch twin needle, and a sewing machine needle
