  • Lucie River Ecovero Crepe - Part of Atelier Brunette's new fabric release, this ecovero fabric, a relative of viscose, is simply stunning. Inspired by the paintings of Lucie Cousturier, a French pointillist artist, this fabric is dotted with blue on a black background. Layered with pale, champagne-colored leaves and red berries, this fabric is botanical, abstract, and truly unique! The drapiest of the three options, this fabric will give you look of a printed silk blouse without the headache of dry cleaning. Always a win!
  • Lagoon Blue Crinkle Cotton Crepe - This fabric is all about the texture! The creped surface is nubbly and dry, with a crisp drape and matte finish. In a gorgeous lagoon blue, veering towards teal, this fabric will transform into a beautiful blouse. The lightweight means it will gather well for the sleeves, and the structure of the fabric will really let the collar shine. And Like most cottons, it will soften up with washing so you can be sure your blouse will be oh-so-comfortable!

the perfect box for serious sewist.

Needlesharp provides a beautifully curated box for sewing a garment. I love that the fabric is matched to the pattern. The tread and needle is matched to the fabric and all extra notions are included in the box. I have made many garments from these boxes and I am so proud of all of them. I have also discovered new fabrics and patterns that I might not have found on my own.

Zoe is my blouse!

Such an easy pattern and it looks so pretty on. Will be making another one very soon!! Loved the box and the beautiful rayon challis in burgundy. Such a treat and would have never bought this pattern. Thank you for such a great experience!❤️

A few problems

I am struggling with the pattern. The instructions are confusing to say the least. Fabric is great.

Good box, but could be improved.

Not enough interfacing included, had to purchase more to finish dress. Also, the 'extra' was a card stock bookmark. Kind of silly and not needed. Hoping more for sewing notions. Great fabric and presentation though! Just needed enough interfacing and better 'extra' item.

My best make yet!

I recently finished my Wilder dress in Burnt Sienna Monstera Print Rayon Poplin from the Sew Essential box and I can’t rave enough about this kit! The fabric is beautiful and incredibly high quality, and since I wear a smaller size I have enough left over to make a True Bias Ogden cami, too! The included thread matches beautifully. And I enjoyed making the Wilder pattern so much that I’ve also used it to make three Wilder blouses. Just the pattern and project materials are a great value, but with my extra yardage and multiple pattern usages it’s a steal. I’ve bought a few Needle Sharp kits and am always blown away by the quality and style of the fabric and choice of patterns. Can’t wait for my next project!
