  • Caramel Heavyweight Linen Twill - We couldn't go this month without a nod to the famous Carhart work coat. The part of nearly every workwear wardrobe, the caramel yellow jacket is practically part of American history. Rather than recreate it in whole cloth, though, I decided to mix it up with a heavyweight linen instead of canvas. The linen is sturdy yet soft and will only improve with age as you wear this coat for years and years!
  • Matcha Green Cotton Gabardine - With a twill weave and structured drape, this fabric acts similarly to heavyweight denim, but with more softness and suppleness. In a delightful matcha green, it is verdant and lush, perfect for winter when you need to make your own brightness. A gorgeous fabric if you're looking to make a cheerful jacket you'll love to wear!

Wonderful

I sewed up the Dec box immediately! The fabric was gorgeous. I chose the box based on the luxurious Atelier Brunette fabric and was so pleased by the quality. I decided it was so special that it would make a perfect holiday gift for my daughter. She is going to love these pjs. I love getting everything I need to sew a beautiful garment in one box without hassle and I love getting to try out new patterns. This month’s merchant & mills pattern I probably wouldn’t have picked up but was pleasantly surprised and will make it again!

Gorgeous Fabric…can’t wait to make it

The glen check in this month’s box is amazing. I love how it’s subtle yet has that splash of colour in the plaid. The fabric has use a touch of spandex which will make these trousers so comfortable. Always a home run with these boxes!

First Box

This was my first box I've ordered. I could not be more impressed! Everything is so thoughtful--whatever I could possibly need is in there (including chocolate! Lol) for any of the versions I decide to do. The material is beautiful and the lining materials and threads coordinate perfectly. I have not had a chance to get started on the sewing yet but I can't wait!
