What you should know (or desire to learn): Sewing with quilted fabrics, bias finishing, attaching a lining (optional)
- Olive Waffle Double Cloth - This fabric is all about subtlety. The olive green hue is muted and earthy, an ideal choice for Fall. And the cotton is woven with a waffle weave that adds amazing texture and visual interest to what seems like a solid fabric. The medium weight fabric has a healthy dose of nylon too, giving it a supple drape and soft hand that is ideal for this jacket. And because of its thicker hand, no need to quilt it to achieve the look you want!
- Mustard Merchant Mills Cotton Quilted Jacquard - From Merchant and Mills, it's Instagram's favorite quilted fabric! In a warm, vivid mustard shade, this layered cotton has a jacquard weave that gives it a quilted look and feel that is perfect for this jacket. The reverse is a gauzy cotton because there is no batting in the middle of this cloth, the inside is made up of a series of thicker yarns which gives it the quilted feel. The top is a fine cotton. Ideal for fall, this jacket will be snuggly and cozy to keep you warm all season long!
