Fabric Options:

  • Midcentury Abstract Tan Barkcloth - If you're unfamiliar with barkcloth, you're not alone. It's not the most common wardrobe fabric. With a texture similar to (but far less pronounced than) the bark of a tree - hence the name - the fabric has a fuller body drape, similar to linen, and nubbly hand that will soften with each washing. This midcentury inspired print where thin lines form trapezoidal shapes of white, blue, and yellow, on a rich tan background, makes for a bold choice for this skirt, one that is both vaguely retro and absolutely stunning
  • Sky Blue Viscose Linen Slub - This blue is so serene and soft, we can't get enough of it. The fabric itself is similar to the viscose linen noil that we've in other kits, but with a longer thread length, smoother face, and tighter weave. Those changes mean a little more body and a slightly crisper drape, all the better to show off the flared shape of this skit and add a little flounce to your outfit. And who doesn't want that?
  • Butterscotch Floral Tencel Linen - This fabric combines the drape and silky hand of ecovero with the structure and durability of linen and cotton to create an ideal skirt fabric. But it's really all about the print. The butterscotch color is sunshine itself and the large scale, line drawn floral is subtle yet impactful. An amazing fabric that will become a one of a kind skirt!

Also in this box: Matching thread, an invisible zipper, twill tape, 8 buttons, and a sewing machine needle
