The Field Bag was originally designed and sold by Fringe Supply Co. and is now available to home sewers as a sewing pattern! The Field Bag is ideal for organizing knitting, sewing, embroidery, or other works-in-progress. It features a roomy main compartment with interior pockets designed for corralling tools, patterns, and miscellany; grommets for managing multiple strands of yarn; and a handy wrist strap.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner

What you should know (or desire to learn): Sewing a straight seam, working with heavy fabrics, and setting grommets.

Fabric:  

• Indigo MishMesh Canvas - Slightly lighter than the other options, this canvas will give you a slouchier bag.  Note: Because the canvas is printed on only one side, the top edge of the bag (the drawstring channel) will expose the plain canvas interior, giving a nice contrast to the bag. 
• Black Wash 8oz Denim - Nothing says simplicity and utility like a good denim. This black denim is supple and soft, but sturdy and durable for anything you can throw at or into your bag.
