Inspired by vintage work-wear, Jenny is a modern interpretation of classic overalls and wide leg trousers with an ultra-high rise, sleek, functional details and a comfortable all-day-long fit. Make a more sophisticated version of dungarees with our well-proportioned bib and optional utility pocket, or omit the bib entirely and make a pair of wide-legged cropped pants, full-length pants or shorts. Optional details abound; mix and match the curved slash front pockets, faux fly front, single or double zipper waistband and rounded back patch pockets. To personalize even further, go all out with high contrast topstitching, or take a more minimalist approach for a clean, elegant finish. Metallic Menagerie Cotton Canvas - The pattern of this fabric comes from Rifle Paper Co, and without fail, their patterns are complex, vibrant and always one of a kind. Printed on cotton linen canvas that is surprisingly thin and supple, this fabric combines a wallpaper-like print with muted yellows, turquoises, and navys for a stunning look. A pair of overalls with his fabric will be an absolute knockout and truly one of a kind!
Navy over Blue Stretch Slub Denim - A dark, dark blue that seems almost purple black, this fabric features royal blue weft threads rather than bright white, meaning the twill weave almost disappears. With roughly 10% stretch but a hefty weight, this fabric is perfect for the fitted shape of these overals; just the right weight and stretch for comfort without cutting off circulation when you sit. And, I don't know about you, but I love to sit.

Wonderful

I sewed up the Dec box immediately! The fabric was gorgeous. I chose the box based on the luxurious Atelier Brunette fabric and was so pleased by the quality. I decided it was so special that it would make a perfect holiday gift for my daughter. She is going to love these pjs. I love getting everything I need to sew a beautiful garment in one box without hassle and I love getting to try out new patterns. This month’s merchant & mills pattern I probably wouldn’t have picked up but was pleasantly surprised and will make it again!

Gorgeous Fabric…can’t wait to make it

The glen check in this month’s box is amazing. I love how it’s subtle yet has that splash of colour in the plaid. The fabric has use a touch of spandex which will make these trousers so comfortable. Always a home run with these boxes!
