The Oxbow Pants are a cool departure from a traditional pair of jeans. They were designed for rigid, non-stretch 10-13 oz. denim, but you can also sew them up in twill, corduroy or canvas for a completely different look. There are two versions to choose from, both featuring a high rise, curved waistband, front and back patch pockets, back darts, zipper fly and large button closure.

Version A is fitted through the waist, hips and upper thighs. They are narrower at the knees than Version B. The pants are cropped with a very slight flare and deep hem. The waistband features an extended tab and button closure. Version B is fitted through the waist and hips with full length straight, semi-wide legs. The waistband is flush at the centre front with a button closure. More...

  • Pond Blue 8 Wale Cotton Corduroy - Wide wale corduroy will always have a 70s feel to it, and that makes it an ideal pairing for this pattern. The corduroy itself has a velvety soft hand and firm drape and at nearly 10 oz, it will wear almost like denim. Plus the dreamy pond blue color is unexpected and delightful. We're in love!
  • Oatmeal Herringbone Bull Denim - A unique denim, this 10 oz cotton twill is woven with a herringbone weave. That means the pattern, which runs parallel to the selvege, will create a stunning striped effect on this seemingly neutral cotton. The color is flecked slightly from the unbleached fiber, and creates a gorgeous palette for your winter wardrobe!
  • Tobacco Sanded Cotton Twill -Deep and dark, like your favorite chocolate, the color is just one thing to love about this fabric. With a sanded, dry hand and a medium weight, the fabric is supple and wearable, like your favorite pair of khakis that you wore until holes appeared. Lightly brushed for softness, this is about as classic as you can get for a twill. Turn it into trousers a wonderful pair of work trousers!

Wonderful

I sewed up the Dec box immediately! The fabric was gorgeous. I chose the box based on the luxurious Atelier Brunette fabric and was so pleased by the quality. I decided it was so special that it would make a perfect holiday gift for my daughter. She is going to love these pjs. I love getting everything I need to sew a beautiful garment in one box without hassle and I love getting to try out new patterns. This month’s merchant & mills pattern I probably wouldn’t have picked up but was pleasantly surprised and will make it again!

Gorgeous Fabric…can’t wait to make it

The glen check in this month’s box is amazing. I love how it’s subtle yet has that splash of colour in the plaid. The fabric has use a touch of spandex which will make these trousers so comfortable. Always a home run with these boxes!
