Axel Skirt Sewing Pattern by Megan Nielsen

The Axel Skirt is a form fitting knit skirt with a range of different hem finishes. Pattern sits at the natural waistline, features close fit, simple construction and easily adaptable pieces.

Version 1 is a midi length skirt with a handkerchief hem. Version 2 is a knee length skirt with hip sashes. Version 3 is a midi length skirt with slit that can be worn in the front or back.

Fabric: Knit fabrics with at least 30% stretch. Fabrics such as ponte, scuba, and neoprene will result in a more figure hugging garment. Knits with more stretch and drape will have a looser, flowing fit.
