  • Nugget Gold Bamboo Cotton Fleece - This fleece is about as cozy as it comes! The cousin of our favorite bamboo cotton french terry, this fabric trades the looped back for a fluffy, brushed face that is dreamily soft. Plus, the color, a golden yellow, is warm and sunshiney. All the better to add a kick of brightness to cold winter days!
  • Blackberry Polar Fleece - This dark purple fleece is soft and breathable, with a shearling-like fuzziness on the right side. The moderate drape will give structure to this pullover and the plush feel will keep you snuggly and warm. Designed to resist pilling, it will stay lofty through wear, which is ideal because you won't want to take this fabric off!
  • Ivory Cable Fable Embossed Knit - Embossed on one side with a knitted cable pattern, this fabric mimics the looks of handknitting without the effort. Sturdy and plush, the fabric feels like a sweatshirt knit and will be so cozy as a loungewear layer or light jacket. The ivory color is versatile and chic, and you can play with the pattern to create your own unique look!

Love the pattern

I love this pattern. It isn't a good one for beginners due to the lack of clear instructions. It also doesn't really tell you the width of bias binding to use -- odd! -- good thing bias tape comes in the kit. The garment itself is comfortable and flexible but the amount of fabric given seemed pretty skimpy this month.

struggling

I am not exactly a beginner but someone who needs more sewing experiences. This kit is frustrating me more than stretching me: e.g., I prefer tissue patterns for flexibility, manageability, elimination of steps (tracing); am finding red ink hard to read on the instruction; the English translation and abbreviations takes some figuring out (it can be done but why so challenging?); metric measurements also need translating (from instruction to pattern to sewing machine); the fabric is super slinky for someone still feeling her way. I could use a secondary Needle-sharp written tutorial to avoid confusion and frustration. I am only just beginning the sewing part so results remain to be seen . . .if it doesn't turn out useable I will really be ticked.

Lovely pattern and fabric combination

Great pattern and fabric. I love that you do all the main decisions for me! I little disappointed in the amount of elastic thread supplied-definitely needed more than one spool. Also, the fabric is very shear; it really needed a lining on the bodice. So, I did have to go to my local fabric store to get more supplies to finish.

Gotta love quilting!

I liked the fabric and final results but didn’t realize it would take so long to cut out and quilt all the pieces for this vest, and I’m an experienced quilter!
