Sepia has a clever design that blends style and comfort. Functional double pockets in the front are sewn to create a floating effect, with additional topstitched pockets in the back. A traditional elastic waistband is elevated with a fluted paperbag edge and optional drawstring. View A is a barrel leg pant ending at the ankle, shaped with darts at the knee and hem. View B is a wide leg, full length pant. View C is a short ending at mid-thigh. More...

  • Redwood Medium Weight Poplin - Deep and earthy, like dark clay or cedar wood, the color is just one thing to love about this fabric. With a silky, dry hand, this fabric is supple and wearable, like your favorite pair of khakis that you wore until holes appeared. Lightly brushed for softness, this is about as classic as you can get for a twill. And absolute wardrobe necessity!
  • Railroad Stripe Cotton Linen Blend - Railroad stripes are the best. Thin white lines with thicker bands of indigo, this pattern is both understated and dynamic. A combo of linen and cotton, the fabric has a dry, slightly slub hand and a fuller drape. In a muted grey-blue colorway, this fabric will add a classic style to your wardrobe.
  • Ochre Linen Viscose Slub - If you want a summer linen with a little bit of sheen, this is the fabric for you. A slub weave adds texture to this brilliant yellow woven and a medium weight gives it just the right amount of heft for elastic waist shorts. A healthy dose of cotton also helps prevent wrinkles, always a concern when it comes to linen. Easy to care for and easy to sew, this fabric is sure to become your new favorite!

I liked the pattern & materials but the instructions are awful.

Poorly printed instructions

Normally I'm a big fan of the needle sharp sewing packages, but my most recent order didn't come with the typical paper pattern and instructions. It was the PDF version that you can buy that is generally for individual use - and was printed with low ink to boot. Not a great feeling to be spending this much money and to not even get the typical physical pattern instructions.
