  • Jardin Red Block Print Indian Cotton  - Like the block print in our Sew Essential Box, this cotton comes from India and is printed with small pink florals, highlighted on a dark cream block. The rest of the fabric is a vibrant, warm red that will brighten up your spring wardrobe. The cotton is almost tissue weight and soft, and will sew up so nicely for this placket and collar. A fantastic option!
  • White Cotton Poplin Shirting - With a silky, dry hand and a heavier weight, this fabric is supple and wearable, solidly medium weight for those chillier spring days. Lightly brushed for softness, this is about as classic as you can get for a shirt, and we dare you to run out of ways to wear it. And absolute wardrobe necessity!
  • Vice Versa Printed Cotton Chambray - Who doesn't love a chambray? Mimicking denim, it has all the look of a work-a-day fabric, but with tons of softness and drape. Add to it a delightful print that reminds us of confetti and you have a shirt or dress that is playful and unusual. A distinct (and lovely!) option!

Wow

The Indigo Pre-Quilted Stripe fabric in this box just blew me away. The pictures and description just did not do it justice.
The box comes with all the notions needed to complete the project. It's lovely to have a new needle for each new product.

Favorite Winter Trousers

This box arrived just in time for the cooler weather. The trousers by The Assembly Line are great. I was a bit skeptical of the double pleats on the front and double darts in the back. Once I was done, I felt like I stepped out from the 1920s or 30s. I'm 5'10" and normally need to find jeans/pants with a 34" inseam. I was very surprised at the length of these trousers since their website state that they draft their patterns for a height of 5'6". I decided not to add any extra length and they ended up being just right -- with a narrow hem -- when I wear flats. I would definitely add an inch or two next time to widen the hem and make them a little longer to wear with any type of small heel.

I also really loved the buttons that were included in the box.

I am already planning on making another pair of these trousers for this winter.
